Cooking time: 2-3 hours (including soaking)

Ingredients:

  • 1 kilogram of apples
  • 200 grams of sugar
  • Cinnamon
  • Vanilla
  • Cloves

Preparation:

  1. Start by preparing the apples. You can cut them into thin slices, cubes, or large pieces according to your preference.
  2. Place the chopped apples in a deep bowl and sprinkle them with sugar. Let them soak for several hours. If you're short on time, you can start cooking right away. In that case, add a bit of water to the mixture so the sugar begins to dissolve and doesn't burn.
  3. Heat this mixture over low heat until it boils, then continue cooking for about 5 minutes. Stir constantly to prevent it from sticking to the bottom. Add cinnamon, vanilla, and cloves for flavor.
  4. Transfer the hot jam into pre-sterilized jars and seal them tightly; ensure that the lids are sterilized as well.
  5. Invert the jars, wrap them in a warm blanket, and let them cool completely.
  6. Store the finished jam in a dark and cool place.
