The scariest and at the same time funniest holiday of fall, Halloween, is about to be celebrated. One of the main symbols of this holiday is the pumpkin. It is usually carved to create a gruesome mask and a candle is placed inside, creating what is known as a pumpkin lantern.

However, don't be in a hurry to throw away the carved "insides" of the pumpkin. You can make a delicious Halloween dish out of them. The host of the New Channel and cook Julia Pankova recommends surprising your relatives with a delicate cream soup from pumpkin.

Ingredients:

  • 1 kilogram of pumpkin  (please use the pulp)
  • 3 potatoes
  • 1 leek
  • 5-6 garlic cloves
  • 100 ml of sour cream
  • Sprig of parsley
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation:

  1. Wash all the vegetables, peel them and cut them into cubes. Put them in a pot and fill with water. Salt and pepper to taste.
  2. After boiling, cook the vegetables for 30 minutes.
  3. Then using a blender, grind the vegetables into a puree.
  4. Before serving, add a spoonful of sour cream to the soup cream and decorate it with a sprig of parsley.
