Rare 3000-year-old amulet depicting scarab and cobra found in Israel
A group of tourists found a rare Egyptian amulet at an archaeological site in Israel that is 3000 years old. The scarab was considered sacred in ancient Egypt, they revered it as the embodiment of the creator, God.

This particular amulet is extremely rare: there are only three of them in the world. The other two were found in Lebanon and Egypt.
Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it looks like an ordinary scarab beetle. On the inside, the insect depicts an ancient Egyptian dish used for casting to the gods, with cobras on both sides.
As a reminder, a 3200-year-old fresco depicting the spider god was found in Peru.
