Prigozhin puts in reverse and returns Wagner combats to field camps 200 kilometers from Moscow
The founder of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, has accepted the proposal of self-proclaimed Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko to stop the movement of Wagner men in Russia. The parties also agreed on further steps to de-escalate tensions.
This was reported by the press service of the Belarusian dictator with the note "Urgent".
Lukashenko's press service said: "This morning, Russian President Vladimir Putin informed his Belarusian counterpart about the situation in southern Russia with the private military company Wagner. The heads of state agreed on joint actions. In furtherance of the agreements, the President of Belarus, having further clarified the situation through his own channels, held talks with the head of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, in agreement with the President of Russia. The talks lasted throughout the day."
It is noted that as a result of the negotiations, the parties reached an agreement on the inadmissibility of unleashing a bloody massacre on the territory of Russia.
"Yevgeny Prigozhin accepted President Lukashenko's proposal to stop the movement of Wagner armed men on the territory of Russia and to take further steps to de-escalate tensions," Lukashenko's spokesmen said.

The report emphasizes that "at the moment, an absolutely favorable and acceptable option for resolving the situation, with security guarantees for the Wagner PMC fighters, is on the table."
Prigozhin himself later posted an audio message on his Telegram channel, in which he confirmed the information about the return of Wagner's men to the war in Ukraine.
According to the "Putin's chef," "they wanted to disband the Wagner PMC," but in a day "we walked 200 kilometers to Moscow."
"During this time, we did not shed a single drop of blood of our fighters. Now the moment has come when blood may be shed. Therefore, realizing all the responsibility for the fact that Russian blood will be shed by one of the parties, we are turning our columns around and heading back to the field camps according to the plan," he added.
As a reminder, the founder of the private military company Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, accused the Russian regular army of launching a missile attack on the rear camps of its mercenaries. The Russian Ministry of Defense considers this statement a provocation. Prigozhin promised to "punish" those who attacked the rear camps of the private military company. On June 24, Prigozhin's militants seized administrative buildings in Rostov and moved to Voronezh. Prigozhin promised that Wagner's men would reach Moscow and take over.
In his address to Russians on June 24, the Russian president said that the actions of the Wagnerites were aimed at dividing society.
