Jess Steele, a heating technology expert at BestHeating, has offered two important tips to help save money on heating. Express.co.uk reports that.
Turn down the thermostat
Preferably, owners keep the thermostat around 22°C, which may seem cozier but is likely to increase energy bills. Research shows that by lowering the temperature in your home you can save significantly on your energy bills.

According to Stohl, 18°C should keep you comfortably warm during the colder months. This can save up to 10 percent on your heating bill.
Only heat the room you are in
One of the easiest mistakes to make is heating unnecessary rooms. Make sure you turn off radiators in unused rooms, such as bedrooms during the day.
This will increase the efficiency of the boiler, allowing the rooms you are in to heat up faster and save on heating costs.
