Ministry of Social Policy explains why payments to internally displaced persons are delayed
The Ministry of Social Policy explained why internally displaced persons receive payments with a delay. In February 2023, there were two reasons for this.
In particular, it is an additional verification and clarification of data due to the transition to the Unified Social Information System. The second reason was an increase in the number of recipients of assistance, the agency said.
It is noted that as of the beginning of March, all payments in the amount of UAH 6.3 billion have been funded. At the same time, in December 2022 and January 2023, the number of recipients of assistance increased by 86 thousand people.

The Ministry of Social Policy also recommended that in case of delays in payments to internally displaced persons, they should contact the social protection authority at the place of registration. This is necessary to verify the accuracy of the data and correct errors.
If the issue is not resolved in this way and the payment has not been credited, you can also contact the National Social Service of Ukraine. You can do this by calling (044) 289-87-89.
As a reminder, some Ukrainians can receive UAH 3,350 of assistance. In order to get it, citizens need to apply to the employment centre at the place of economic activity.
