Surprise your guests: a recipe for polenta with green peas
Green peas polenta

Even those who don't like green peas will like this dish. It's very tender and light, and it won't take you long to prepare.

Ingredients:

- Polenta - 150 g

- Butter - 50 g

- Grated Parmesan cheese - 100 g

- Sour cream 20% - 70 g

- Green peas - 500 g

- Milk - 200 ml

- Yellow onion - 1 pc.

- Salt - to taste

- Water - 650 ml

Method of preparation:

1. Chop and fry the onion until golden, add the peas, pour 200 ml of boiling water and cook until soft.

2. Add salt, sour cream and beat with a blender so that there are no pieces left.

3. Mix 300 ml of water with milk and bring to a boil, slowly pour in the polenta and cook until thick, stirring constantly. If the consistency is too thick, add boiling water.

4. Mix the polenta with the peas and add half the cheese.

5. Serve with butter and cheese.
