Three plants not to keep at home: they suck energy from the host
Ivy and Dieffenbachia are energy vampires

Houseplants can be beneficial, freshen the air, and improve the microclimate in your home. However, it is important to remember that some plants can have a negative impact on energy.

This is what Ukr.media writes about.

Ivy

One such example is ivy. Some types of ivy have potentially toxic properties that can be harmful to human and animal health. Moreover, it is believed that ivy can cause problems in personal life and family relationships, and therefore it is often called a "man-hater".

Fern

Another plant that can affect your energy is fern. It literally sucks large amounts of energy from the environment, which can lead to noticeable fatigue and weakness.

Dieffenbachia

Another "energy vampire" is Dieffenbachia. This plant needs a constant energy supply and can "absorb" both positive and negative energy from the room. Therefore, it is important to place it in your home with caution.

As a reminder, we've already written about which houseplants you shouldn't keep at home.
