When you see stains, you need to take precautions and use appropriate natural products.

1. Baking soda is a reliable ingredient against food stains, especially oil stains. If the stain is fresh, first remove it with a paper towel. After that, drip a few drops of water on the stain and apply a homemade paste of baking soda and water. Cover with a sheet of aluminum foil and leave it on for at least 12 hours. The baking soda will absorb the stain and you will get a clean marble.

2. Chalk is suitable for removing stains, for example, coffee. White chalk should be crushed to get a fine powder. Apply a thin layer, add a few drops of water, and leave for an hour. Then simply rinse with warm water.

Due to its natural properties, this product can whiten and remove darker stains, such as coffee stains.

3. Potato starch is an effective remedy for food and drink stains. The stains will lose their consistency and disappear forever. Apply a little starch to the stain, leave it on for a few hours, and rinse it off with warm water.

How to polish marble

After removing stains, you can make your marble look even more shiny by polishing it. To do this, use wool. If you don't have a piece of cloth, take an old sweater. Moisten the marble with water before the procedure.

Never use acidic solutions to clean this material as they are damaging and can leave marks or stains. Do not use vinegar, lemon, or coke to remove stains on the marble.
