Autumn is a favorite time for stylists. After all, this season allows you to create layered looks, choose textured items and boldly combine colors.

1. Red and light blue
Red is the most popular color this season, and you shouldn't be afraid of it. Michelle Barrett, stylist and founder of Capsule Closet Stylist, suggests combining it with chocolate brown or black. For example, wear a berry red dress with black boots, a black long wool coat, and a black handbag.
If you want to make your red more daring, choose a blue one.
"Try a berry red knit dress with a sky blue silk scarf and a dark gray coat," Barrett added.
2. Mustard and charcoal
This autumnal color combination takes inspiration from foliage as well as the runway. Both colors are on trend this year.
"Create an outfit with different textures, such as knitwear, satin and dark gray leather, and then combine it with an oversized mustard scarf," the stylist said.
According to her, the mustard color also goes well with burgundy and green.
3. Chocolate and beige
This rich neutral color combination always remains a classic.
"Chocolate brown and beige is a seasonal element that is resistant to trends and uplifting," says Elizabeth Kosich, a certified image stylist and founder of Elizabeth Kosich Styling.
According to her, chocolate brown is also universally suitable for all skin tones, which makes it a winner.
The stylist recommends combining a chocolate sweater dress with a brown suede corset belt and worn brown engineer boots with a camel coat.
4. Olive and denim
This combination is a hint of nature, said Elizabeth Kosich. According to her, style an oversized olive green blazer with a tight turtleneck and classic cut jeans in light denim, dark or white. Complement this look with bright suede loafers, and then complete the outfit with a detachable faux fur collar for an unexpected touch of luxury.
5. Blue and silver metallic
Why wear black all the time when you can choose navy blue? Kosich recommends it with a touch of silver.
"Try dark trouser jeans, a white shirt with a folded collar and a navy blue jacket (coat), and then add mirrored pumps, a silver clutch and sparkling chandelier earrings," says the stylist.
According to her, the combination of navy blue and silver metallic instantly elevates denim and other basic items in the wardrobe.
6. Black and white with surprises
Take this classic color combination to the next level by adding something unexpected.
"Try a powerful suit with crow's feet for a spectacular look with accent colors like yellow-green or fuchsia," said Kosich.
