Not everyone knows this, but milk has a cleansing effect that deserves to be used more often. Find out how to use this natural ingredient to get rid of all kinds of stains on your textiles.

1. Milk can absorb ink stains. This drink is very effective at removing ink stains. To do this, moisten a cotton ball with the equivalent of a teaspoon of milk and gently rub the ink stain. Keep doing this until the ink is gone.

2. Milk can remove port wine stains. If you've just spilled a glass of wine on your shirt, it's important to fix it as soon as possible so that the stain doesn't transfer to the fibers.

Fortunately, milk, among many other natural stain removers, can help you out in this situation. To do this, pour a teaspoon of milk on the wine stain and gently rub it with a damp cloth.

3. Milk can remove grease stains. To remove grease stains with milk, pour some into a bowl and dampen a clean toothbrush with it. Then gently rub the problematic stain. Leave it on for 15 minutes, then put the item in the washing machine and wash it as usual.

4. Milk can be effective against coffee stains. Although the coffee stain seems difficult, milk can effectively make it disappear. To do this, mix a tablespoon of water with a teaspoon of milk in a small bowl or cup and then place a cotton swab in the solution. Then use it to clean the problem area until the stain disappears.

5. Milk can clean grass stains. Grass stains can be a problem but not if you use a cotton ball dipped in milk. Wipe the dirty area, leave it on for 10-15 minutes and wash it in the machine.

6. Milk will help get rid of ketchup stains. Pour a tablespoon onto the stain and then gently wipe it with a cotton pad. If this is not enough, leave the milk on the stain for 10 minutes or more and then wash it in the machine.

7. Milk can remove blood stains. To clean a blood stain on your clothes, soak a cotton ball in milk and wipe the stain. You can also pour the milk directly onto the fabric and leave it to work for a while. Then wipe with a dry cloth.
