No need to knead: how to quickly prepare lazy pascha for Easter

The main edible attribute of Easter is sweet Easter bread or paska. Nowadays, many people buy pastry in a store, but some are used to baking personally.

However, baking paska, especially kneading the dough, take a lot of time. But there is an easier way - to prepare a lazy paste that does not need to be left to rise and knead for a long time.

How to cook lazy paskha without kneading

Ingredients for 3 strips:

  • flour - 550 g;
  • dry yeast - 1 tbsp. L.;
  • chicken yolks - 6 pcs.;
  • milk - 300 ml;
  • butter - 180 g;
  • sugar - 200 g;
  • vanillin - a pinch;
  • orange - 1 pc.;
  • raisins - 150 g;
  • spices to taste - nutmeg, cinnamon, ground cloves, cardamom.

Method of cooking:

Prepare all the ingredients in advance. Eggs and butter should be taken out of the refrigerator earlier so that they are at room temperature, and milk should be warm.

You need to squeeze the juice out of the orange and soak the raisins in the orange juice. Do not rush to throw away the orange peel and finely chop it or grate it.

Now take the steam. Add the dry yeast and 2 teaspoons of sugar to warm milk. Mix and leave the steam for 10 minutes. It is important to take fresh yeast so that the dough rises well.

Beat the rest of the sugar in a separate bowl together with the egg yolks and vanilla. Instead of 6 yolks, you can take 4 eggs, but then the paska will not be yellow. Then add soft butter and your favorite baking spices to the egg mixture. Stir the mixture with a whisk or mixer.

Next, you need to add the foam to the dough and gradually mix in the flour. Cover the pan with the finished dough with a film and leave it in a warm place for 1 hour.

Raisins should be extracted from orange juice and rolled in flour. Mix raisins and orange peel into the resulting dough.

Take the forms in which you will bake and place them on a baking sheet. They should be filled to a third of the dough and left in the form for another hour to rise.

Bake the pastries in an oven heated to 190° for 20 minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 160° and bake the products until done. This will take about 15-30 minutes, but a lot depends on the oven.

Check readiness with a wooden skewer, which should remain dry after piercing the dough.
