Cyclamen can bloom beautifully, but it contains danger. The juice of the stems and roots of this plant can irritate the mucous membranes, cause swelling and pain in the throat, and also make it difficult to breathe.

Aglaonema is another plant that should not be kept in a house with children and pets. The stems and berries of the plant contain a poisonous substance that can cause allergies and corrode mucous membranes.
