How to get two flowers from one orchid: gardeners' tips
Orchids can be propagated very easily

To propagate an orchid, you should use only clean tools that need to be disinfected with alcohol before use (for example, garden shears or a sharp knife). This process is quite simple, but it requires care and slowness so as not to damage the plant.

Orchid propagation procedure:

Thoroughly clean the roots of the orchid and cut off the lower part of the root system using a sharp and sterile tool. After that, you will be left with two parts: one with roots and one without the root system.

Plant both parts in separate pots using new substrate and fresh moss.

Water both orchids by immersing them in water.

Soon, the young orchid will grow its first leaf and the old orchid will develop new roots. The reproduction process is complete.

Remember to fertilize your orchids by adding fertilizer to the water every 15 days. It is worth alternating between fertilizers that promote growth and those that promote flowering. Moreover, monitor the watering process regularly.
