A doctor has listed five things that you should not eat for lunch as it can have serious health consequences. In particular, carbonated drinks and sweets should be avoided at lunchtime.

Dr. Reza Tirgari also recommends cutting down on meat. This is reported by Mirror.

Carbonated drinks, even sugar-free ones, should be avoided at lunchtime as they contain phosphoric acid. This substance is terrible for teeth and bones and leaches calcium from bones, which increases the risk of osteoporosis.

Dr. Tirgari said that people should not eat sweets during lunch because of sugar. Highly processed meat should also be avoided and should be eaten only occasionally.

He also said palm oil, which he described as "one of the most unhealthy saturated oils," should be eliminated. Dairy products should be consumed in moderation because of their high fat content.
