Fish and garlic: what not to give cats

Usually, our pets become full-fledged family members for whom we care as much as for ourselves.

The diet of felines plays a very important role in the cat's well-being. Therefore, this issue should be taken seriously. UaPortal has compiled a list of foods prohibited for cats.

Foods under the ban:

- Sweet, spicy, salty, fried - these foods are not very healthy for humans, and even less so for cats.

- Garlic and onions - irritate the gastric and digestive tract mucosa.

- Fish - fish bones stuck in a cat's throat can be fatal. In addition, the bone can pierce a part of the gastrointestinal tract and cause internal bleeding. Fish impairs kidney function and exacerbates urolithiasis, and raw fish is a source of parasites
